The subject focuses on aspects of English pronunciation, both on the segmental and suprasegmental level, which are different from Czech and therefore potentially affected by interference. In addition to theoretical background provided by the lecture, the course aims to improve the students' pronunciation skills and to correct wrong pronunciation habits. By the end of the course, students should develop the ability to critically assess their own pronunciation and know how to self-correct their pronunciation mistakes in a continual process of improvement.
